Job Description
We are currently seeking an individual with strong communication skills and experience in distribution, inventory management and staff development to support our facility in Groveport, Ohio. As Operations Manager, you will ensure execution of our customers’ fulfillment and distribution requirements, monitor and maintain proper safety and security controls, and support appropriate inventory integrity controls within budget requirements, be responsible to provide direction to front line supervisors and hourly associates within the building. Accountable for the daily, weekly and monthly planning, preparation and performance of his/her team of associates ensuring the perfect order. Directly manages supervisor(s) with a team of associates.
Shift: 4pm - 12:30am (core hours)

**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Assist the General Manager with the following duties-train on how to independently execute.
+ Oversees supervisor(s) and associates to ensure products get properly processed and ultimately out to customers for timely delivery
+ Assist in the development of productivity & accuracy standards and follow-up to ensure acceptable quality control standards are met
+ Work to improve accuracy and customer service and quality levels in each department
+ Analyze and make improvement recommendations to established departmental processes and procedures
+ Responsible for ensuring that department associates are trained on safe work practices. Manage associates keeping those safe work practices as first priority, making sure they are followed to support a safe work environment
+ Develop supervisors to be capable of coaching, counseling and motivating associates to attain optimum performance, productivity levels, and associate morale. Ensure communication and teamwork among staff to aid in the accomplishment of the department objectives. Provide for continued on the job training for all associates
+ Ensure that all company and HR policies and practices are communicated to department associates and practiced consistently (i.e. Attendance policy, Workers Comp programs, etc.)
+ Monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective processing and delivery of orders as well as excellence in customer service levels
**_Requirements:_**
+ Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
+ Minimum of 5 years of management experience in complex, high SKU warehouse distribution environments
+ Technical knowledge of distribution, operations systems including WMS & RF Scanning, automated packaging
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Access and MS Excel and storage equipment is required
+ Demonstrated success in staff development, and project management
+ Experience managing an exempt (salaried) team
+ Demonstrated leadership, initiative and decision-making skills
+ Must possess excellent analytical skills and be capable of handling a variety of issues, problems and priorities simultaneously
