Job Description

Description Under the general supervision of the District Manager the Area Manager is responsible for managing the scheduling, staffing and execution of inventory operations in a specific geographic area to achieve profitability and service goals in support of the overall company objectives. The Area Manager's Primary Job Responsibilities are: + Recruit, hire, train and manage a team of Inventory Associates and Supervisors + Staffing and Scheduling of Inventory Associates and Supervisors for inventory events + Manage time and attendance + Establish and maintain effective business relationships with retail customers + Inventory Associate and Supervisor development + Ensure pool of vehicles are maintained properly and operational + Ensure inventory equipment is available and operational + Support productive and effective inventory outcomes To apply please email CSmith2@wisintl.com Job Requirements + College degree preferred, with an emphasis on business + MUST have a minimum of 2 years management experience, related experience or in high volume, fasted paced retail or restaurant environment + Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to work with customers and colleagues at all company levels + Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office's suite of products; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint + Acceptable Driving Record - meets or exceeds the requirements of the Company's driving policy + Applicants are subject to background and drug screenings, where permissible by state law

TASKS

  • Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
  • Direct or coordinate production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities of industrial organizations.
  • Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports to detect production problems.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
