Job Description

What You'll Do

  • The Project Manager position offers the opportunity to learn about and establish interoperability via health information technology.
  • Client is a dynamic fast moving and highly innovative organization working with the state's health care organizations, with the goal of improving health outcomes through the strategic utilization of technology.
  • The Project Manager is responsible for taking on individual ownership of projects.
  • The Project Manager will support project work related to but is not limited to members and participants that are onboarded or need to be onboarded to the client's services and programs.
  • The Project Manager will work with a team comprised of internal staff, 3rd party consultants, technology suppliers and the member/participants staff and vendors.
  • The Project Manager will act as the connector and point of contact for the project, programs risk and issue management.
  • The Project Manager will ensure that all tasks assigned are completed on time, provide status updates, track time accordingly and align to budget.

What You'll Bring

  • • Minimum (3) years' experience in IT coordination
  • • Bachelor's Degree or related experience preferred
  • • Healthcare and Technology experience highly preferred
  • • PMP or other accredited Project Management certification program management experience, and/or experience managing multiple complex projects/work threads at one time
  • • Knowledge of Agile Scrum Framework preferred.
  • • (2) years' experience managing high volume of tasks with different timelines and stakeholders

You'll Be Successful If You Have a Deep Understanding Of:

  • • Develop with key stakeholders the project goals and deliverables required to complete the project.
  • • Coordinate project tasks and deliverables and associated timelines with key stakeholders.
  • • Schedules and coordinates resources, meetings and workbooks.
  • • Communicates status, actions, issues and to all applicable stakeholders timely.
  • • Monitoring and updating status on detailed tasks and deliverables, e.g. for hub-spoke model EMR implementations.
  • • Executes the integration efforts per project timeline and goals.
  • • Consistently reviews project plan and goals to maintain accurate and updated deadlines.
  • • Champions efforts to reduce or eliminate obstacles in achieving goals and project tasks
  • • Maintains up-to-date plan with appropriate notes associated with statuses of each tasks/goal.
  • • Ensure communication is accurate by taking detailed notes, tracking next steps, follow-ups, action items.
  • • Independently completes projects and related activities, and initiates project tasks.
  • • Routinely completes complex assignments requiring independent action and high degree of initiative to resolve issues with consistency, urgency and accuracy.
  • • Responsible for workbooks related to assigned projects.
  • • Participates in daily standup to give updates on project associated task adherence to complete implementation goals.
  • • Maintains documentation library and inventory of process documentation related to projects.
  • • Quickly obtains knowledge of our current existing process, identify success factors, strengths and weaknesses and opportunities.

  • • Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers at various levels
  • • Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines
  • • Highly organized, driven, and self-motivated as candidate will be tracking 30+ project/sites.
