The Warehouse Manager will provide leadership to the branch and manage a variety of general warehouse activities in an accurate, efficient and cost-effective manner.

+ Analyzes and proposes methods of sustained productivity increases
+ Maximize the cube fill rate on the delivery vehicles and minimize delivery costs and increase driver productivity
+ Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse
+ Ensures safe working conditions including properly training employees on proper safety methods, assists Human Resources with the management of workers compensation claim
+ Audits various paperwork and postings for accuracy and compliance with appropriate local, state and federal laws, statutes and company policies
+ Responsible for the proper collection, dispersal and retention of drivers logs, fuel tax reports, accident files and registers
+ Effectively counsel and manage employees on attendance, performance and/or misconduct
+ Manage the AS400 system for the purpose of measuring the pick accuracy and performance of employees (cycle count, bin walk, etc)
+ Responsible for managing the maintenance and repairs of all warehouse-related equipment
+ Three to five years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
+ Knowledge of local, state and federal OSHA safety regulations
+ Knowledge of location, state and federal DOT transportation regulations
+ Experience in forklift certification and inspection, hazmat certification, operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)
+ Experience in a union environment preferred
+ Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift
+ Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
+ Must have strong leadership and organizations skills
+ Ability to work a flexible work schedule with a "hands-on" management style
