Maniilaq Association gives health and social services to citizens of Northwest Alaska. A non-profit-making organization. The Maniilaq Association works with twelve federally acknowledged tribes located in Northwest Alaska. The Association maintains social and health services for approximately 8,000 people in the Northwest Arctic Borough and Point Hope. Maniilaq also organizes tribal and traditional support programs, environmental and subsistence security services. With about 550 in its workforce, Maniilaq Association is also the biggest employer.
