Mankato Area Public Schools (MPAS) is a public school district providing world-class education and assuring learning excellence for a growing student population through a comprehensive academic experience, developing skills, and career readiness to pursue the changing world. MPAS offers primary and secondary education (P-K to 12th grade) for more than 8,478 students in south-central Minnesota and surrounding areas. The corporate head office of the school district is located in Mankato, Minnesota, the United States. Sandy Hasse is the Vice President. MPAS has 16 schools, including 10 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 3 high schools, and 1 early childhood family education center, with more than 2,400 academic and non-academic staff providing a personalized education experience for all students.
