Job Description:

Join the Naval Radar Systems team of diverse professionals showcasing skills in program management, operations, sub-contract management, business communications, and customer interface. These dynamic teams are responsible for creating manufacturing planning and execution of specific programs.

This pivotal position is responsible for the Operations Management of an IPT (Integrated Product Team) to ensure execution of multiple programs within Naval Radar Systems (NRS) and the Total Ship Mission Systems (TSMS) business areas. This role encompasses the overall management and participation in all phases of a program life cycle from new business capture through development, production execution and close-out. The duties include, but are not limited to: the overall management and coordination of manufacturing resources to ensure effective execution of program requirements, support EVMS reporting requirements, CAM responsibility up to $200M budget, primary interface across Operations value streams, lead role in implementing engineering change orders, and developing Manufacturing Plans. Demonstrate your communication skills in report presentations to the Customer, Vice Presidents and Sr. Directors representing the IPT team and operations performance. The Operations IPT Lead is directly
responsible for the performance of his/her program team. Other duties include managing the coordination and execution of program schedules with ISC, Subcontracts, Engineering, Quality and other CBTs. The position may require support in four local Raytheon facilities: Marlborough, Tewksbury, Sudbury and Andover.

Specific responsibilities include:
* Support the program team with emphasis on cost, quality, schedule, safety and hardware performance to specification
* CAM responsibility up to $200M with EVMS reporting. Risk and Opportunity management
* Leading integrated teams in the development and implementation of cost and schedule improvements through project planning, team building, and recurring task management
* Loading program requirements/direction via the work authorization process and subsequent execution to an MRP schedule
* Drive R6S continuous improvement initiatives within the business, as well as support to ISC continuous improvement initiatives at critical supplier facilities
* Support the preparation and presentation of weekly/monthly Operations program reviews and support ECAC development, program Tracking Book/EVMS reviews, IMS/IMP maintenance, AOP inputs, and Capital Planning
* Actively utilize Raytheon Six Sigma as enabler to achieve program commitments, implement best practices, and delight the IBT and the external customer
* Lead a multi-disciplined team through strong team building and collaboration skills

The position will be based at the Integrated Air Defense Center (IADC) in Andover, MA

Required Skills:
* Minimum 10 years relevant experience (or 8 years with a related Masters degree)
* Experience in developing manufacturing strategies and cost proposals
* Experience with Operations Management working in an Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT / CBT) environment to ensure effective transition of programs from design to manufacturing
* EVMS experience, with ability to achieve EVMS Level 2 Certification
* Lean Manufacturing and Management experience
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

* Strong team building skills necessary to lead a multi-disciplined team
* Experience with new product introductions and the design hand off to manufacturing process with focus on manufacturability.

* Knowledge of and experience with IPDS (Integrated Product Development System) processes
* Understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) with proficiency in PRISM
* Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
* Experience dealing with suppliers and sub-contracts

* Bachelor's degree (preferred fields but not limited to: Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management, Finance) or equivalent education and experience
