What does a Market Manager do?

As market managers, we act as a face of our business in its market(s) on one hand, and represent the market to internal teams on the other. We create and execute market share growth strategies, and manage external relations. Our role straddles sales and marketing. We participate in the development of sales plans and targets, contributing our deep insight on market conditions and opportunities. We also plan and implement marketing strategies that support these targets and align with the corporate marketing strategy.

Core tasks:

  • analyzing and evaluating market conditions and opportunities
  • developing and implementing market share growth strategies
  • coordinating marketing efforts, establishing marketing plans
  • participating in development of sales strategy as a market expert
