As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will contribute both graphic design and professional writing skills toward promoting the benefits of eBikes to North American cyclists and non-cyclists alike.You will work on a diverse international team with highly motivated people and travel occasionally to attend bike-related events and conferences throughout North America and visit potential customers. Your success will be measured by the timeliness and quality of your projects and their impact on end consumer outreach and sales revenue.Efficiency, attention to detail, and creativity will be key to your success in this role.
Tasks:Plan and produce graphics for trade fair and event booths, advertisements, newsletters, brochures, videos, and other marketing communication materials, as well as adapt existing European materials for North American audiences.Contribute content for social media and other outlets to promote eBikes, their riders, and upcoming bike industry events.Occasionally support ad-hoc marketing tasks such as bike industry market research, summaries of news coverage, and event planning.Occasionally attend bike industry events, assisting with logistics, set-up, customer interaction, and tear-down. Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have previous marketing experience and be actively pursuing a Masters-level degree. 4th year undergraduate students may also be considered depending on experience and skillset.Expertise in graphic design software including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or equivalent software required. Candidate should be prepared to provide work samples on request.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required.Candidate must be self-directed, self-motivated, have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, have ability to prioritize, and work independently or integral member of a team.Candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural work environment.Passion for cycling and German language skill are a plus.
