SUMMARY

Responsible for the administration of corporate marketing activity, as well as administrative support to the EVP of Marketing, and several other sales directors and executives.  Will be a critical member of the sales and marketing department to ensure the attainment of its goals, in order to achieve the long-term growth of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides overall support for the corporate marketing department

Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

Supporting marketing executives in creating, updating, organizing and distributing various marketing and promotional projects, including but not limited to:

·         Marketing materials/literature including digital, print, and other media

·         Trade Show planning and execution, as well as other customer events

·         Assisting with Copywriting and editing

·         Social Media Marketing

·         Developing presentations including Powerpoint creation and support

·         Work with, and follow up with marketing vendors/suppliers on key projects at the direction of the EVP Marketing and Marketing Manager

·         Other campaigns and marketing initiatives which may include trade events, market research, as well as other special projects as directed by the EVP Marketing or Marketing Manager

Establish KPIs and track results of various marketing campaigns 

Provide other administrative support needs for marketing personnel, sales directors and other key executives including, but not limited to:

·         Expense report creation and review

·         Meeting planning and scheduling

·         Travel arrangements

·         Other administrative functions as needed

Supports sales directors and the marketing department by compiling, formatting, and reporting information and materials, handling mailings to Pratt sites as well as customers, and organizing numerous special projects.

Comply with company policies and procedures.

Additional duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a marketing assistant

Good understanding of office management and marketing principles

Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases

Excellent knowledge computer literacy with an excellent working knowledge of MS Office (explicitly MS WORD, XLS, Powerpoint), as well as some graphic capabilities such as photoshop, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Social Media applications, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.).

High school diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage

Experience as a proof-reader, or editor with excellent grammar skills

At least two years of general office administrative experience

Excellent communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information

Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:

Two years of college level courses or more

Excellent organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail

A high degree of organization

Capacity to work independently

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Excellent writing skills, including spelling and grammar.  Ability to compose business correspondence.  Excellent phone communication skills.
