Bring your knowledge of marketing and corporate communications to produce creative content for a variety of digital, print, social and event formats for a range of audiences. As a self-starter who works well in a team environment, you will coordinate communication projects, add your social media/video flair from conception to completion and ensure we are on message. And, keep projects organized and on deadline.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Responsible for drafting various communications materials, such as associate newsletter, news articles and memos.
Handle administrative functions such as print and electronic distribution list management. Foster vendor and printer relationships in order to meet deadlines.
Oversee the production schedule and distribution of print and electronic communications. Maintain editorial calendar.
Partner with company Strategic Business Development group to handle acquisition communications. Partner with functions and Businesses on large-scale change initiatives and develop communications plans to support their success.
Coordinate timing of regular communication channels.
Serve as department representative for specific internal projects.
Respond to communications inquiries as appropriate.
Nature and Scope
Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct "customers" of the process.
May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or Professional personnel.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
Minimum three to five years of experience in corporate communications and/or marketing department, understands the basic principles of marketing and communications and how they fit together
Creative and resourceful content provider who formulates and implements original ideas
Excellent people skills with ability to interact professionally across the organization, including c-suite customers
Organized, detailed project planner capable of working independently as a part of a team to achieve desired results
Understands and applies marketing, digital, and media industry trends/developments
Knowledge of delivery vehicles including print, social media, public relations and other digital formats
Knowledge of AP style, Poppulo or similar application, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, video experience a plus
Writes for multiple audiences (such as customers, shareholders, media, associates) and understands the importance of “know your audience”
Creates digital campaigns, and understands and translates analytics
Eye for good design, recognizing that visual design and copy are partners in good communication
Focus on customer satisfaction with a sense of urgency
Experienced project manager who is able to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
