Job Description

Job Summary: The Marketing Data Analyst role is to generate business critical insights in support of a broad range of marketing initiatives, with a heavy focus on digital platforms. This creative individual will also play an important role in advancing our marketing optimization and personalization capabilities leveraging best-in-class marketing technologies. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • 3 years of work experience in quantitative marketing research or data analysis • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen • Proactive problem solving and unquenchable desire to learn • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, LTV modeling, customer segmentation and marketing effectiveness • Experience building and automating management and operational level reporting • Hands-on experience working with complex database architectures and the management / synthesis of data distributed across multiple systems • Mastery of query development, data transformation, modeling and reporting in Excel/Access and SQL • Experience working with large sets of real-world data • Experience creating visualizations and reporting using Power BI • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or graduate degree • Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform • Experience with Tealium platform • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools • Experience in statistical analysis (SAS, SPSS, Python or R) Responsibilities: • Provide actionable overall quantitative market and customer insights to address key strategic questions across Marketing (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand awareness/perception, channel mix, product development, customer experience) • Responsible for data collection, tracking, reporting, and analyzing performance of marketing activities (e.g., email and advertising campaigns), ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports • Analyze external and internal customer data using databases queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (GA, Tealium), statistical analysis tools and campaign management software tools (SFMC) • Analyze customers’ journeys, with primary focus on online behavior and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements to the user experience • Assist in the construction of structured A/B and multivariate tests, collect/analyze results, communicate results and provide recommendations • Create PPT presentations to provide market and consumer insights to Marketing team and other stakeholders within (and outside) the organization. • Be an advisor to other marketing functions as the knowledge owner for customer and market data that exists within ACE and on web, advertising and email reporting tools • Maintain a commitment to and align with ACE mission, vision, values and programs, to successfully lead teams to represent ACE • Other duties as assigned
