They did take my disabilities in consideration almost to the place I felt like I was not being productive. The pros was that they considered my Schedule was allowed my to attend my family’s school involvement.
Pros and Cons
They proved breakfast and lunch for special occasions.
They were not considered and opened about what they wanted done about what they wanted done.

Honestly I think it was just the managers I had, but it was sucky. I was there for two years and the only thing that got me through that was my coworkers and the connections I made.
Pros and Cons
There was free food a lot of the time and the coworkers are usually nice and fun
Drama and a lot.

Marshall’s had great potential at being an employer I could grow with. From the start I felt alienated and discouraged from market managers and my store manager. They doubted my skills since I came from a loss prevention background. I was expected to be overly friendly with everyone and if I was serious I would get complained about and sat down by the SM. When I put in my two weeks my SM stated “I feel as if I needed to push you more then I should have” granted this was a new company for me, new position, new systems and all of which I was still learning. Market Manager favored the other new manager since they were around the same age and expected impossible things from me such as getting three weeks schedules out in one night while also opening a new store. Then I was told by a visiting manager that the Market Manager did not like me and I was going to be fired because she did not like me… I believe if I had better leaders this would have been a great company to grow with.
Pros and Cons
Great pay, management is hourly, can be a great atmosphere
Poor leadership, no self accountability, no hours for regular employees

For the short period of time that I worked for Marshall’s a had a great time. Meet a lot of awesome people and was able to create good connections.
My background in retail management help me walk my steps. Training was weak, lots of movements from store to store. Different store, different management styles. It was confusing.
Once I got to my store it was challenging. Lots of new knowledge and a complete new staff. The person I reported to had no prior management experience and poor people skills. That was a very unfortunate situation. It’s a great place to work if you like the retail environment. It was very sad I had to leave.
Pros and Cons
Team work, opportunity to grow, decent pay
I don’t see anything bad

Costumer Service
Lakewood, CA - December 17, 2021
I needed a job and landed one with Marshals. My first clothes retail job so I didn’t know what to expect. I soon became a fan ,and started to collect all the new items that came every other week and I loved to be first to get the best of the shoe collection. Buying gifts was now simple with a discount. I also meet great people of all different backgrounds. If they would take me back I probably would go but that’s a story for another time.
Pros and Cons
Easy to stay in the now. All the new looks
The go backs At the end of the day everything needs to go back to where they belong ,lots of stuff.

Pricing Clerk
Slidell, LA - September 10, 2021
It was the first time, I worked as a pricing clerk. My duties were to check all
Items for price tags. Also make reduced tags if the item was on sale on damaged.
Move the produces to their proper places. Sales items went to the sales rack. The atmosphere
Was joyful and moods were always high.
Pros and Cons
I got an extra 15% off of items when I was off the clock.
I had just had my 2nd child, so being there at 8am was a little hard on me.
