Cons.... 15 plus years you will work every weekend No set shift for years , you will work any start time 14 to 16 hrs a day witn 10 off and return. 1st 2nd 3rd shift mid day late day nights all the same week Many lay overs . Customers you deliver to will treat you like garbage, wont do their jobs and you will be exspected to do it for them. IE you get to a location and they have 30 trash bags in your way. Your expected to take care of it. Up to 3 thousand return racks and 10 thousand bun racks a year won't be in order, you will be expected to take care of it. Cutomers will not have a stock person 60% of the time , so your no touch job becomes a stocking job for the customer..Customers will cuss at you , throw things and you will be expected to take it...Management and HR will be zero help to you , and will always side with the customer. Even on your days off , you will get multiple calls to come in .. Non cooperation = worse routes.

You will have no life. You will miss every kids birthday party , wedding , funeral , and graduation

I started out working on the floor as a picker and within one year I had advanced to supervisor. They do recognize hard work.

Pros and Cons
It was an excellent work atmosphere.
They will work you until you drop.

no words can describe daily routine. some days rewarding/ some not so hot. if you can tolerate a union putting you as management under a microscope everyday, then go for it.

Pros and Cons
the supervisors tried to bond as a good solid unit. some tried to be their own team.
long days 12 hrs - continued walking back & forth really wears you down.
