The Government of Massachusetts is committed to develop business through procurement and business diversity. The Operational Services Division (OSD) is responsible to look after the development of business in the state. It focuses on the Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) and the Small Business Purchasing Program (SBPP) with aim at creating business opportunities for diverse and small businesses and support the economic recovery of the Massachusetts for both goods and services. OSD manages business and customers of the government through a variety of services and programs such as the state fleet of vehicles of the state, the Massachusetts’s COMMBUYS Procurement Market Center and certify diverse businesses to do business with the state, to manage the procurement of goods and services. It also arranges for the direct management of over 100 statewide contracts that helps government to earn a revenue of more than $1.4 billion.
