Big corporation I find have untrained both in the therapy and client care as managers. I’ve been on the table and was not satisfied with the massage. As a retired massage therapy instructor and practitioner I guess my expectations are a bit high? I believe companies should consider hiring (retired) skilled and experienced personnel for advice and as consultants. I know the company growth will expand with returning satisfied customers.

I worked for Massage Envy for 4yrs. I never had a an incident that couldn't be resolved until one instance I was to work on a client who was female. I was informed that the client wanted a female therapist. So I assisted in setting up an appointment with a female therapist. Later that day, management told me I had a complaint against me by the client I assisted. I was suspended and terminated without no one hearing my side of the situation.

No support from management in resolving issues.

High turnover = opportunity for rapid advancement
High turnover is murder if you're the one trying to fill shifts
