About Material Planner

What does a Material Planner do?

As Material Planners, we take control of the coordination of raw material, other parts, resources while manufacturing products at the same time. We make finished products while keeping the manufacturing process handy such as raw material like wood, oil, paper, plastic, glass and stone are incorrect shape and order. Our focal work is in factory settings while making a sound collaboration with vendors to buy requisite materials. With proper planning, blueprints and specifications about quantities, we aim to reduce waste, manage inventory levels and keep a balance of output.

Core tasks:

  • determination of quantity required to process orders
  • ensure material specifications are in alignment with quality standards
  • track volume and monitor customer demand
  • preparation of cost estimated and performance reports
