Work for them for 2 years until one of their Melbourne stores got shut down for stealing a bunch of food and then the district manager started coming down hard on my particular store. And then every single violation became a write-up while managers could do pretty much anything they want from showing up 45 minutes late to sending people home early for any reason that they want. GM will not allow you to contact her unless she is scheduled to work at a certain time so any emergency that happens you're on your own for

Inspired by the fun, a few kids joined in, twirling around with their Happy Meal boxes. Jake started a "Burger Boogie" competition, where the best dancer won a free sundae. I was verbally abused my manager, had coworkers that didn’t do their job, quit because of that. The day I quit, the manager that usually verbally abused me got mad at me, she wanted an explanation as to why I was leaving, she was asking me in front of all my coworkers, and she got mad because I said that I wanted to leave because of me moving away, which was a lie, I was too scared to tell her to her face it was because she verbally abused me. In my resumes I say it was because I had to start senior year, but I was truly going to work during school too, but I quit days before summer ended, had support from my mother who was outside of the McDonalds waiting for me to quit, I was a minor while working too, because of the bad experience in McDonald, it was truly hard to even go back to that same McDonald’s I worked before to even go eat.

As for my career with McDonald’s I started with them at 15 years old in the production area assembling sandwiches. I was a Swing Manager at 18 years old at the same time, I was a senior in high school. Once, I graduated from high school I was promoted to General Manager at a $4.1 Million Dollar location. I was a Multi Unit Supervisor leading three restaurants/three GMs. By the age of 25 I was promoted to Area Supervisor leading five restaurants. Fast forward to now I was promoted to Director of Operations running a 19 store organization. I was in my role for 3 years before leaving in 2021 to start my own small business. However, the best aspects of working at McDonald's is actually enjoying the busy pace and multiple things that need to be accomplished. My days are never boring. Also, Mcdonalds Corporation really cares about their employees and their training program at Hamburger University is top notch. Many successful people in business started here.

Pros and Cons
McDonald’s gives you a business mindset

McDonald's was my first job that I have worked in since I had no experience. I know that I should be greatful for having the job which I am since I have stayed there for the rough 5 years straight. If I had to tell myself where to work for first timers, it should NOT be McDonald's. McDonald's always have the worst crews, unhygienic, unsanitary environment, and foul mouth. I understood why EVERY customer would treat each coworker with disrespect. Not only that, the crew members, especially the managers are always stealing, favoritism, blackmailing, and all the other harmful things you can think of. The reason why I stayed there working for years is because McDonald's do have flexible hours and only if you chat with the managers for multiple times until they accept it. Overall McDonald's is the "Don't Recommend" unless you have criminal records and no one is hiring you.

Pros and Cons
free meal, 50% family discount, flexible schedule
disrespectful, no training, rude customers, unhygienic environment, no locker

Honestly one of my more enjoyable careers to say the least, the coworkers are friendly and willing to help out and the majority of managers know what they're doing, though there sadly was an incident that resulted in me losing good faith in the higher ups as an incident occurred in which an employee had been taking unwarranted photos of me during work hours, when bringing this to the multiple managers attention it seemed that little to no one was going to do anything about it, even when asking for a different schedule I still saw him the next day I worked, I also believe I haven't been paid for the time I did work until my departure so there's that as well, ultimately the scum is still working there and I'm looking for a new job, thank you McDonalds, I cried to sleep for a week

Pros and Cons
Free lunch
Little care for employees
