The day goes by so fast that you can't believe it's time to go home. I enjoyed working at McKesson but, at first, it was hard. I was a Temporary Employee and ended up getting let go about the 5th month. I really liked the job and felt I was doing well, considering the amount of time that I was there, (I thought to myself, "Things can only get better")! I followed protocol and went beyond the call of duty to assist a very sick patient. The incident that caused my dismissal had nothing to do with me, it was another Rep that didn't follow protocol. It was very unfair. I guess that's the way it goes. Sorry, I was rambling.

While I learned a lot and meet great people working here, my last year there was very unpleasant hostile work environment, constantly having to look over my shoulder wondering who was watching me. No work life balance. You won’t move anywhere there unless they want you to which is sad. Mckesson could be a really great company and was a one time a great company to work for but all the negatives out wayed the positive. I gave 3 years to mckesson and nobody wanted to know why I was leaving.

Pros and Cons
Free lunches, lots of ot

This company is not the best place to work. There isn’t any room for growth and if you are a college student this may not be the job for you, some supervisors may work with your school schedules others won’t. They do not have any internships for any department at McKesson. Communication is horrible and they do not pay enough for the things they want you to do. This job is just a job to work to gain experience and take your experiences to a company who will appreciate their employees. As many meeting this company has and concerns they ask us on what could be improved or changed, nothing happens. It is best if you are looking for a career to look else where. But if you are looking to just have a job and you plan on having other career dreams to gain experience this is the company for you.

Pros and Cons
The job is Monday-Friday
Cons is everything I stated above.
