What does a Media Manager do?

Working as Media Managers, we establish and monitor performance benchmarks and media cost with agencies. We check media efforts results and prepare measures of success. We recommend marketing management on media policies development for maximum effectiveness. We collaborate with brand teams to optimize investment return for advertising management and media planning. We supervise the media marketplace to remain updated on the latest media trends. We manage and maintain media budgets. We oversee and implement authorized plans, media payments, and purchase orders.

Core tasks:

  • develop a detailed understanding of media measurement and evaluation standards
  • analyze media research and transform it into a strategy
  • manage entire media budget activities
  • develop content for dissemination
  • interact with agencies and outside suppliers for billing issues and dispute resolution
  • conduct press conferences and briefings
