About Media Specialist

What does a Media Specialist do?

We, the media specialists, have the core responsibility to work with and to operate the video and audio equipment. We make use of slides, projectors, and other such electronic equipment. We also are responsible for making the lectures fun to watch and easy to understand using PowerPoint tools. We even teach other people regarding the use of electronic video and audio equipment. Our job requires us to handle routine tasks ranging from cleaning the lens to charging the equipment.

Core tasks:

  • using software and other applications to do the task efficiently
  • coordinating the audio-video footage and equipment
  • organizing the available data and resources in the database
