Seeking a part time Medical Assistant - no nights, no weekends and no overtime necessary. MA will work between both of our locations in West Los Angeles and Tustin (North Orange County) on a part time basis. This is a great, stress free job with healthy men who are dealing with sexual disorders. No guts, no drama, you have ability to work autonomously and be core medical provider of a growing practice.

What do we do?
LaSara Medical Group specializes in men’s sexual health, treating erectile dysfunction, peyronie’s disease, premature ejaculation, and low testosterone. The MA role will require you to be hands on with the patient’s penis while administering the treatment. You must be professional, comfortable, and face each treatment session in the same fashion as if it were another part of the body.

Medical and Business responsibilities:
- Must have hands on patient care experience as you will be the primary interface with our patients
- Provide shockwave treatment to patients
- Draw blood for blood panels
- Personality and professionalism is everything, must be confident in your ability to communicate with patients and ensure their decision to treat their sexual dysfunction
- Maintain punctual patient treatment schedule
- Manage and document patient charts thoroughly
- Order medications when necessary
- Take patient vitals
- Ability to work autonomously
Required license/certification/education:
- Medical Assistant
- High school diploma or equivalent
Professional expectations:
- Personable, ability to clearly communicate with patients on the phone and in person
- Dependable, punctual, and on time
- General computer skills
- Professional and groomed self-presentment
- Customer service or sales skills are a plus

TASKS
- Conduct tonometry or tonography tests to measure intraocular pressure.
- Measure visual acuity, including near, distance, pinhole, or dynamic visual acuity, using appropriate tests.
- Take and document patients' medical histories.
- Administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications.

- Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Writing — Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
KNOWLEDGE
- Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Medicine and Dentistry — Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
