About Medical Case Manager

What does a Medical Case Manager do?

As Medical Case Managers, we are tasked with creating new protocols and standards in order to gather and collect various information regarding the patients’ case and educate employees on how to determine appropriate areas to refer or assign that case based on its complexity. We also coordinate with physicians to develop new medical programs based on the latest development in the field and coordinate with the hospital’s ER department to determine what cases they receive the most. We create and design the paperwork to be handed out to patients based on the latest development in the CDC’s laws and regulations.

  • follow and enforce appropriate regulation and laws
  • maintain patients’ electronic health records
