Good company to work for. Open door policy is not always open. Office hours are limited during the evenings but the ladies in the office are always willing to help.

I started out as a salesman. I was hired by Jon Mills. I was given a bonus to start with Medline. I started the Nursing Home division. I made quota every year and made all bonuses. Vickie was my inside sales rep. I also sales managed 5 guys and traveled various locations. I was also the National Sales Manager calling on Nursing Home groups like Manor Care . I ate lunch weekly with Jim and Jon.

They say you may work 1-3 hours OT on top of your 8 hour shift occasionally which isn’t bad. But OT is nearly everyday and it’s not 1-3 hours. It’s up to 8 hours of OT. Which is a 16 hour shift of manual labor after that 16 hour shift you have to show up again in 8 hours for your next scheduled shift. So 8 hours of driving back home, errands, chores, and sleep/rest all packed into 8 hours and back to your job you go. If a supervisor don’t like you, you’ll know they don’t like you by making you do the worse task on your given team repeatedly. Training was horrible, I show up and my trainer isnt available because she called out and I’m told to “do the job” with very limited training (close to none) and expect a good performance by break time. This place isn’t good for a normal level employee, if you’re in a higher position or an odd position you may like it. If not, good luck.

I’ve worked in Medline for almost 20 years (19years and 10 months to be exact). This company will support your growth within the company by letting transfer/bid on different positions. Giving opportunity to go back to school and pay partial of your tuition fee. Not just giving employees education opportunities; but also employees children by giving monetary scholarships to help pay for college expenses. Recognizing employees as well. Annual employees appreciation week ( literally whole week of different kind of activities and food). Every Christmas and Thanksgiving bonus, I like my experience working for Medline.

Leads and managers don’t act with fairness and get into relationships with employees. If in need of a family emergency we will get punished for it. Not a great workplace for anyone
