What does a Member Services Representative do?

As Member Services Representatives, we are tasked with answering the incoming phone and email inquiries, concerns, or questions that are pertinent to a certain service offered by our company. We document to store the caller’s name, phone number, and exact issue with all the details provided by the customer. We forward this list to the sales department or managers based on the situation to implement changes in order to avoid this from happening in the future. We also provide basic information about the company such as policies, fees, benefits, processes as well as more details about the products/services offered.

Core tasks:

  • upsell new and existing customers on other services/products
  • resolve issues before escalating them to the manager
