Very busy hospital with Breast Cancer Center, Level 2 Trauma Center and Pediatric Oncology. Hospital leadership is very supportive of the laboratory operations. Good Team orientation among the departments. The patient is number one focus.

This is corporate healthcare. Most decisions are downstreamed to the facility.

Unit secretary

I worked as a unit secretary for over 9 months! I loved the job, the nurses, the patients! I was responsible for typing up doctors and Nurses orders, ordering supplies for the nurses, meal trays for the Patients and their families! I would answer and transfer calls, make copies, fax orders, and give great customer service ! I loved this position!!

I was laid off due to lack of work and I wasn’t prepared for that !

I worked with amazing people at Memorial and you need people to have your back when the work load is heavy.
