About Memory Care Director

What does a Memory Care Director do?

As Memory Care Directors, we coach and counsel departmental employees following senior lifestyle human resource policies. We plan, coordinate, and evaluate memory care resident programs. We also lead high-quality, innovative programs in memory care to include self-lead programs daily. We also organize the monthly programming calendar and required supplies.

Core tasks:

  • conducting interviewing, orientation, and ongoing training of memory care team following employee training policies and guidelines
  • managing memory care employees in partnership with the health and wellness director
  • managing memory care operations
  • adhering to the budget guidelines for the department
  • performing other duties as assigned
