Mendes & Mount is a law firm that has been operate since October 1 1916 is located at New York’s financial district. Duncan & Mount were lawyers in other companies. They carried extensive expertise to their new practice, where they chose to specialize in insurance and admiralty law. At the death of Mr. Duncan in 1947, William Blanc Mendes, a twenty-five year veteran of the company, was taken over by the firm. The name of the company has been changed to Mendes & Mount, LLP.
