About Merchandise Coordinator

What does a Merchandise Coordinator do?

As Merchandise Coordinators, we are tasked with regularly monitoring the company’s stock and availability of stock on the store floor at all times and place orders to replace items as they reach the replacement level to avoid shortages. We move stock from the company’s warehouse to the shelves by hand and follow the display team’s instruction to accurately position each item to catch the prospect’s eye while ensuring that the price is displayed below each item. We also assist with merchandise, packing, handling, and pricing in accordance with the company’s standards and policies. We maintain accurate stock records while ensuring that stock orders stay within the designed budget.
