Position Summary:
The Export Supervisor will work in Fond du Lac, WI. It will oversee the responsibilities performed by the exports team in coordinating shipments to our International distributors, dealers, or branches for all Mercury Marine product lines. This requires a person that can work effectively with a variety of teams from local Operations and Inventory Planning to our Global Partners for forecasting and capacity planning to ensure the timely and accurate shipment of product. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy across the group and proactively communicate challenges and updates. This position will work closely with transportation analysts on contracts, pricing, analytics. Must be able to build strong relations with our carrier partners and in Leading a group of 6-9 Export Specialists you will be responsible for training, reviews, scheduling and hands on support for the area as well as providing direct support of our End of Month revenue shipments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will have 6-9 direct reports and will be responsible for training, providing coverage when needed, reviews, setting goals and providing growth opportunities.
Coordinate shipments for all product lines; work closely with sales department to ensure proper pricing/program criteria are applied, credit department for prompt credit release, and the distribution centers to ensure timely shipment
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Become the escalation point for our internal/external customers to proactively resolve any shipment, carrier, invoicing or quality issues
Maintain Shipping Compliance by ensuring that all shipments depart only after customers are properly screened, HTS codes, ECCN's, and license requirement are met.
Prepare invoices, pro-forma invoices, insurance certificate, proper documents for clearing goods, edit invoices to allow entry of goods into destined country, Certificate of Manufacturer, Certificate of Quality and Quantity, fumigation, wood contents, haz mat documentation, etc.
Will be involved in with carriers for operational support, QBR's, pricing & planning
Maintain high level of knowledge of international trade regulations to insure consistent compliance with laws
Work Closely with the Transportation - Imports - Compliance teams
Identify and Action opportunities for systematic solutions and enhancements that streamline the order entry and distribution process for the international distributor
Will be expected to work with the team members to support in times of need when work load is high or fill in for them if needed

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
Excellent project and team management skills
Thorough knowledge of state, federal and international import/export laws to include HTS, Incoterms 2020, IATA/IMDG Regulations
Knowledge of Microsoft, Oracle and Integration Point Systems
Strong verbal and written skills are required to communicate effectively within the organization as well as with external customers, freight forwarders, etc.
Strong ability to manage across multiple priorities
Strong analytical and organizational skills with focused attention on detail
Exceptional customer service skills, including but not limited to strong ability to solve problems

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field required
Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
3-4 years of experience in Transportation/Logistics, or Import/Export Trade Compliance
