Since 1969, My Health My Resources (MHMR) has provided high-quality mental health and intellectual and developmental disability services throughout Tarrant County. It is the state's second-largest community center. MHMR is one of Texas's 39 community centers. Initially, a modest clinic that exclusively provided mental health treatment, they now have over 100 locations around the county. Psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, therapists, case managers, dieticians, volunteers, and others make up the more than 2,000-strong staff. All are dedicated to providing services that respect the dignity and fundamental human rights of those they serve.
