As a nurse about to graduate in 2014 I was eager to have a job lined up before I even graduated. I remember being at LA Fitness getting a phone call from Lori (ED manager at the time) who I could tell was the most genuine person over the phone. She asked if I’d like to interview and I gladly accepted the offer to interview. I never thought I would end up in Maine but now I wish I never had to leave. This hospital is truly amazing and the other workers are too. It was such an honor to work for Lori and have extensive training before being fed to the wolves. This hospital is also a Magnet hospital and my pay increased every 3 months throughout the residency. I miss it so so much. Laughed hard and worked hard but it was a blessing in disguise.

Pros and Cons
CEO was a nurse. They never hesitated to pay double time if you came in to help out. So much support
Nothing bad to say about MidCoast. Best experience a new grad nurse could dream of.
