What does a Middle School Math Teacher do?

As middle school maths teachers, our job role requires us to deal with middle school students, including teaching students numbers and mathematical problems. We are responsible for delivering lectures, guiding students, checking their homework, and solving their queries. We also create a yearly teaching plan that covers all the basic topics. As middle school maths teachers, we also teach students algebra and geometry to prepare them for high school. Along with all these roles, we help weak students come forward by conducting extra maths classes for them.

Core tasks:

  • carrying out fun mathematical activities to engage students
  • analyzing students progress
  • preparing report cards of students
