We, the milieu counselors, help the patients to communicate with the medical staff. We ensure that the patients are comfortable and assist them with their daily routine. Also, we perform safety checks, supervise patients’ activities, and give patients the hope of recovery. As milieu counselors, we communicate with the family of the patient and inform them about the health status of the patients. In addition, we monitor the patient’s behavior on daily basis and implement the procedures to improve their behavior.
