We, milieu therapists, are in charge of working with patients who go through eating disorders, addictions, depression, substance abuse, and bipolar disorder. Our job includes working at rehabilitation centers or other care programs to help individuals get better. We provide support to individuals who go through difficulties and understand their trigger mechanisms that lead to their aggressive behavior. Understanding a patient's daily routine and making changes to it for their betterment is also part of our duties. We also assess a client's behavior and report it to our supervisors.
