Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) accelerates achievement of the student and cultivates leadership quality at all levels. MPS is home to eight of the state and nation’s top high schools according to the U.S. News and World Report and the Washington Post. Milwaukee Public Schools offer many educational programs and activities for children from preschool to high school and also employs parents’ coordinators for the welfare of the students. MPS has options to support children from early childhood to college. Many students of MPS are taking college-level Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses. During 2018 the MPS earned more than $86.2 million in scholarships and MPS schools put systems in place to prepare students for success in higher education, post-educational opportunities, work, and citizenship. MPS has quality teachers in safe, caring and learning environments. Alike several schools, MPS also provides before and after school care and transport facility and free breakfast and lunch to all students.
