Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota Vikings is an American Professional Football team that was founded as an expansion team in 1960 and started participating in NFL (National Football League) in 1961. Competing in the North Division of the NFL, Vikings had an average outing in the NFL during the early 1960s; however, it all changed in 1968 when Vikings won the Central Division title, and in 1969 they won the league championship.
