About Model

What does a Model do?

As Models, we are tasked with accurately following the photographers’ directions and instructions in order to accordingly pose for a photo or video shoots when partaking in advertisements and television commercials to promote multiple products and services. We also maintain a certain weight through constant dieting in order to be able to fit into all sorts of clothes and costumes. We partake in runway shows by modeling the designers’ accessories, footwear, jewelry, and clothing while maintaining the right walking pace to ensure that the products’ details are shown.

Core tasks:

  • partake in conventions and trade shows to raise the company’s brand awareness
  • research and study the designers’ fashionwear

I completely agree with that. The majority of models don't make a lot of money and have to deal with unfair contracts and working conditions. It's a tough industry to break into, let alone thrive in. 😐
