Since its foundation in 1978, the primary and initial mission of MOKA Company was to build homes within communities. They are licensed by the Michigan State to be an adult foster care but help children as well. The aim was to help the adults who live in the State institutions become socially and physically accepted in the localities. However, MOKA has expanded the range of its services since the year 1981 and has built thirteen more homes all over West Michigan. Currently, the organization supports many adults and kids with developmental and intellectual disabilities like autism. The organization’s size is about 500 employees, and these employees are always encouraged to serve as leaders in every department.
