Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) is a California public community college that is fully accredited. The college is noted for its academic programs and student support facilities, and it has an inclusive admissions policy. The college has been called a top military-friendly institution. About 100 degree and diploma programs are available to prepare students for transition to four-year schools, provide vocational and professional instruction or to upgrade job skills, and develop fundamental skills in math, drawing, reading, and English as a Second Language. MPC now offers 14 transfer degrees in Administration of Justice, Art History, Anthropology, Communication Studies, Business Administration, and more as part of the Associate Degree for Transfer program through California State University (CSU).
