Montgomery College (MC) is a public community college, fully accredited by the national commission, dedicated to student success, and widely recognized for the quality and scope of its academic programs. The university comprises three campuses, its flagship campus located in Rockville, and two other satellite campuses present in Takoma Park/Silver Spring and Germantown, all active to serve the communities of Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. Montgomery's legacy dates back to the organization of Montgomery Junior College established in 1946, with the current main campus of Rockville opening in 1965. MC currently hosts over 55,000 credit and noncredit students, on an enriching campus where students participate in 130 clubs and organizations, including student government, sports, academic and social organizations, and special interest clubs. Its workforce of 5000 plus educators from a talented and award-winning faculty made up of academic leaders and industry experts, all adequately supported by a total benefits package.
