Most opportunities will be global in nature and will involve collaboration with FCA colleagues in Italy, South America and Asia. FCA is currently seeking a Buyer in our Mopar Purchasing department to manage sourcing of service parts for keys, sunroof, door modules, and mirrors. The Buyer will be responsible for managing all commercial terms and the developing sourcing strategies for both domestic and global projects. Functional responsibilities include identifying potential sources, managing quotations, negotiating and awarding of long-term contracts, managing all aspects of the supplier relationship including contract maintenance, achieving annual cost savings targets, and developing supplier/commodity strategies. The core responsibilities of the buyer are the development, ownership, and execution of full lifecycle commodity strategies which include but not limited to: Leading all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and internal customers including sourcing process/budget management, benchmarking, supplier relations, purchase order issuance/maintenance, supply/delivery, cost savings, economic claim negotiations, etc.
Leading regional and global supplier development and cross-functional communications with suppliers using a One Voice approach
Leading a cross-functional team including partners from: marketing, engineering, supply chain management, supplier quality and finance
Frequent professional communication with senior leadership

Strong communication skills and are highly customer focused
Experience at leading cross-functional teams
Fluency with G Suite / MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree
6 months of purchasing or closely related relevant experience
Experience with SAP
Global commodity experience: participating in global sourcing activities and working in global teams
