Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, also known as Morgan Lewis is a global law firm established in 1873 in Philadelphia, United States. The firm comprises approximately 2,200 legal professionals in 31 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The merger of the firm with other law firms enhanced its global growth and led to a ranking of eighth on American Lawyer’s 2018 top 100 firms by gross revenue list. Dr. Gail McKnight Beckman was hired as the first female associate of Morgan Lewis in 1963, and Stephanie Abramson became its first female law partner in 1980 who is now the Adjunct Professor of Clinical Law and Director of Law and Business Experimental Classes at New York University School of Law. It is also known for its high-profile pro bono representations and for listing a notable amicus brief in the US Supreme Court in 2015
