About Mortgage Advisor

What does a Mortgage Advisor do?

As Mortgage Advisors, we cross-sell and promote the bank and its services to prospective customers and the community. We meet with members to review and analyze their credit and financial data to estimate their creditworthiness and risk of defaulting on their loans. We advise our customers on which type of mortgage is most suitable for their current situation and tell them what type of mortgage adviser we are and how we’re paid. We also ensure that our customers can afford what they are borrowing now and in the future by explaining to them how interest rates usually go up.

Core tasks:

  • explain repayments and mortgage protection
  • advise customers to upsell other related financial products
  • assist clients in completing their mortgage application
