About Motion Designer

What does a Motion Designer do?

As motion designers, we design for the internet, television, and film. To bring their creations to life, we use motion capture, animation, and other cinematography. We have a faculty for learning about an idea or concept and then drawing a sketch to fill it out. When seeking or exploring those possibilities, we, motion designers, have a deep sketch and/or creative/graphic design skillsets.

Core tasks:

  • altering crude video film and add impacts/components to improve movement designs
  • exploring and examining best plan strategies and answers for make movement designs
  • helping with planning and making storyboards
