This IT organization was the worst run organization I have experienced in over 30 years in IT. Decisions were made based on how it felt, IT ITIL best practices were considered unnecessary and issues and major outages resulted weekely due to a Command style vs Leader style management with no clue how to run the organization. In leadership meeting voices would be raised to the point of yelling. Acuzations were made again from what was tho9ught and not facts causing the wrong Employee to be demeaned and blammed for events not in their role or responsability. I have worked for 5 major hospitol It organizations and never have Healthcare Leaders successfully transitioned to IT. My suggestion is to hire professional IT TEam memnbers and Leaders for the IT org. You wouldn't hire a IT professional for a Dr's position without the correct qualifications and position.
