As MUD engineers, it is our main task to work on the oil wells and other such sites to mix, test, control, and determine the drilling mixture. We work with engineers and other geologists to assist them in their work. Our job role also requires us to be skilled enough to investigate the texture of soil before starting to drill it. Making an accurate drilling mixture also is our responsibility. We analyze the type of muds and determine the procedure that is best for that mud type.
