What does a National Account Manager do?

As national account managers, we are sales professionals primarily responsible for managing the relationship of high importance clients of our organization at a national level. We manage all communication between such clients and internal teams. We are also expected to grow the business by developing new accounts. We lead and manage a team of regional sales managers and representatives.

Core tasks:

  • developing and maintaining relationship with major key clients
  • managing sales team

  • developing understanding of key account needs and translating them to internal teams
