NCSC or National Center for State Courts was formed in 1971 by Chief Justice Warren E. Burger in Williamsburg at the First National Conference of the Judiciary. The first President of NCSC was Ed McConnell. It is a non-profit organization headquartered in Williamsburg, Virginia, the United States. The other two offices are located in Denver and Arlington. The current President is Mary Campbell McQueens. Warren E. Burger is the key person to NCSC. NCSC is a global leader and a consulting firm. It is focused on law and constitution in helping courts improve the administration of justice in the United States and across the world. They work for the courts, advocate for judicial and legislative reform, and a center of education in the field of judicial administration. They conduct research studies, organize a variety of educational programs and seminars, handlining a web database, counseling services, and continued assistance in the improvement of inter-branch relations.
