The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (MagLab) is a unique facility of its kind in the United States and among nine facilities worldwide. Supported by the National Science Foundation and the state of Florida, The MagLab carry out magnetic field research in Physics, biology, bioengineering, chemistry, geometry, and biochemistry. MagLab holds a world record of possessing the world's strongest magnet for nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy experiments.
